The Office of Information Technology provides Adobe Acrobat Pro at no cost to faculty and staff for installation on university-owned computers. (Please do not download programs advertised as free PDF readers. They are often malware!)
Acrobat Pro allows you to view, create, manipulate, print, and manage PDF files.
You can also use Acrobat Pro’s Accessibility Checker tool to help make PDF files accessible for people of all abilities. University Policy 8140 requires PDF files hosted on Boise State websites to meet web accessibility standards.
Contact your department or college Adobe administrator to request an Acrobat Pro license, or send a request to the Help Desk at helpdesk@boisestate.edu.
