JMP Pro

JMP Pro’s no-code approach allows students to learn and apply statistical concepts without having to learn programming and provides a comprehensive range of capabilities from basic statistics and data visualization to advanced machine learning and industrial statistics, including design of experiments.

JMP Pro is available for faculty and students.

Maple

Maple is an essential tool for researchers, teachers, and students in any technical discipline. It lets you explore, visualize, and solve even the most complex mathematical problems, reducing errors and providing greater insight into your problem.

Maple is available for campus use by joint funding from the Math Department and the Office of Information Technology.

Mathematica and WolframAlpha Pro

Mathematica and WolframAlpha Pro makes possible a new level of automation in algorithmic computation, interactive manipulation, and dynamic presentation–as well as a whole new way of interacting with the world of data. Ideal for use in engineering, mathematics, finance, physics, chemistry, biology, and a wide range of other fields.

Mathematica is also available on Boise State public computers.

MATLAB

MATLAB is a programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numerical computation available to Boise State students, researchers, faculty and staff for installation on personal and University-owned computers.

NVivo is a statistical analysis program available to University employees per an annual license agreement per copy.
