Adobe Acrobat (Pro) Studio is suitable for advanced or specialized PDF work, including:

  • Creating or editing fillable PDF forms
  • Performing OCR (Optical Character Recognition) on scanned documents
  • Advanced PDF editing (modifying text, images, or layout)
  • Professional or compliance-level redaction
  • Batch processing or automation tasks
  • Advanced document preparation for workflows involving Adobe Sign
  • Using Adobe Accessibility Checker, which helps ensure PDF files are accessible per university policy 8140 and Title II compliance requirements.

Adobe Acrobat Studio licenses are available at no cost for current Boise State faculty and staff.

The software is authorized for installation only on university-owned computers.
