Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Campus Operations, the Campus Operations division includes Capital Planning and Space Management, Facilities Operations and Maintenance, the Office of Sustainability, and Architectural and Engineering Services.

    Associate Vice President for Campus Operations

    Drew Alexander joined the university in 2015 as a Capital Planner, working within Capital Planning and Space Management. In subsequent roles as the Assistant Director and then Director of Planning, he oversaw the development and implementation of short and long range growth plans for the university through its master plan. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Boise State University. He has represented Boise State on numerous boards and committees, including the COMPASS Executive Board, the City Go Steering Committee, VRT’s Regional Transit Team, and is a Past-President of the Lusk District Neighborhood Association.

    Barb Beagles

    Executive Director, FOM

    Barb Beagles has been part of the Campus Operations team since 2011. Previously, she served as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Boise State, and in the private sector for manufacturing facilities including Ash Grove Cement and Weyerhaeuser. Barb’s main focus is ensuring our campus is safe, presentable and operational with limited downtime and minimal interruption to student learning. She holds bachelor degrees in biology and secondary education from Idaho State University, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Idaho.

    Barb Beagles has been part of the Campus Operations team since 2011.     Executive Director, CPSM

    Christy Jordan has served as the director of Capital Planning and Space Management since 2013 where she oversees the university’s long range and space planning efforts. She joined Boise State University in 2003 as a project manager with Architectural and Engineering Services and prior to that she was a project architect at Montana State University. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture at Montana State University.

    Christy Jordan has served as the director of Capital Planning and Space Management since 2013 where she oversees the university’s long range and space planning efforts. She joined Boise State University in 2003 as a project manager with Architectural and Engineering Services and prior to that she was a project architect at Montana State University. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture at Montana State University.
