    Dana Thorp Patterson

    Director

    Dana joined the Osher Institute in December 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in higher education leadership. She is a first generation college student and graduated Summa Cum Laude at age 19 with bachelors of art degrees in criminal justice from the College of the Ozarks. She earned advanced degrees in counseling and higher education administration from Missouri State University and University of Missouri.

    Dana was raised in remote regions of Alaska, which influences her still today. She is an avid fisherman and loves remote wilderness hiking and exploration. Dana is passionate about lifelong learning and creating programs to meet the needs of curious minds. “Working with Osher members is the highlight of my career in higher education. I am inspired and motivated by their interests, energy and willingness to engage.”

  • 2. Lundergreen, Jamie

    Jamie Lundergreen

    Program Coordinator

    Jamie joined the Osher Institute in April 2017. She earned bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and Spanish from Boise State University and is currently working on her Masters in Public Administration.

    Jamie grew up in Gardnerville, Nevada but has called Boise home for the better part of the last 8 years. She’s worked in several different roles at Boise State and now, in her current position, enjoys helping to prepare and support Osher presenters for their courses and lectures while also making sure that finances, SIGs, and special events run smoothly. In her free time, you can often find Jamie listening to a podcast, taking a trip, or going for a hike with her husband, Cameron, and their dog, Wookiee.

    Holly Goldgrabe

    Assistant Program Coordinator

    Holly joined the Osher Institute in November 2016. She earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California.

    When she’s not managing member services, designing and editing the new semester catalog, or writing next month’s newsletter, you can find Holly hunting down the city’s best pastry and baking her own creations to share with her Yanke building coworkers.

    Makayla Muilenburg

    Student Office Assistant

    Makayla is a junior at Boise State University and is majoring in media arts with a public relations emphasis.

    In her free time, Makayla loves to be outdoors and explore Boise—whether that includes hiking Table Rock, skiing at Bogus Basin, or finding new restaurants downtown.
