Apply

To apply for a TA or RA position, you must contact the instructor offering the position directly. Each instructor’s requirements, expectations, and application process will differ. The application requirements for available TA and RA positions are listed on the spreadsheet linked below.

Students earn upper-division credit for serving as a TA or RA. If an instructor is interested in having you as a TA or RA, they will provide you with a permission number to enroll in TA or RA credits for the Spring semester. You can only serve as a TA a maximum of three times — once for PSYC 101, and two times for all other PSYC courses. Additionally, you are limited to taking total 9 credits of PSYC 488, the course you would enroll in as a RA.
