Service-Learning Academy

Learn the essentials of teaching with Service-Learning (SL) while designing a SL experience through this guided asynchronous academy. You’ll review SL models, try out SL essential practices, develop a SL experience with a community partner, and take steps to successfully integrate SL into your course.

The approximate time commitment is a total of 12 hours. Educators who complete all modules and submit a SL plan will receive $200.

Choose between two formats:

• 2-week program: Sept. 16-30, 2024
• 12-week program: (6 modules over 12 weeks): Sept. 16 – Dec. 9, 2024
