Alpha Mu Gamma: The National Collegiate Foreign Language Honor Society (Boise State chapter)

Alpha Mu Gamma has more than 316 chapters in public and private two- and four-year universities and colleges across the United States.

The aims of Alpha Mu Gamma are to recognize achievement in foreign language study, nurture an interest in the study of foreign languages, literature, and civilizations, stimulate a desire for linguistic attainment and foster sympathetic understanding of other peoples through the medium of languages.

To qualify for full membership Boise State students must have:

a) Two final course grades of “A” in two unrepeated college-level courses of the same foreign language.

b) An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Completed applications and a check for $30.00 (or cash) may be dropped off at the World Languages Department or given to Fatima Cornwall.

Deadline to apply for Fall 2019 semester is October 31, 2019. 

**AMG graduating seniors: Please do let Fatima Cornwall know if you would like to order an honor cord to be worn at the graduation ceremony. The cost is $12.
