Boise State University’s French Club is thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in this year’s France on Campus program. The French Club was awarded the grant to help create a website where Boise State students can find connections to the Francophone world–both far and near–that suit their own unique interests. Using our connections to the Francophone community through the Alliance Française de Boise chapter, the refugee community, and the varied French businesses in the valley, and with the help of this grant we will showcase Francophone cultures and the French language to a wide audience on campus but also to our surrounding communities.
Our fully online project will greatly contribute to the France on Campus Awards’ goal to produce creative France-related projects on campus while introducing new audiences to French and Francophone cultures.
