1. Taiwan Scholarship:.
The Taiwan Scholarship is offered to students who wish to enroll in a degree program (Bachelor, Master or Ph.D.) in Taiwan. Recipients will receive tuition and payment of academic fees up to a maximum amount of NT$ 40,000 (approximately US$1,300) per semester and a monthly stipend of NT$ 15,000 (approximately US$500) for a Bachelor program or
NT$ 20,000 (approximately US$650) for a Master/Ph.D. program.
2. The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship: (HuaYu means Chinese language)
The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship is tailored for students who wish to focus exclusively on the study of Chinese language. Recipients of this scholarship will be given a stipend of NT$ 25,000 (approximately US$800) per month for 2, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months of study at a university-affiliated language center. The 2 month scholarship is reserved for a Summer Course in either June-July or July-August, 2021.Applicants for both the Taiwan Scholarship and/or Huayu Enrichment Scholarship must also apply to the university or language center of their choice. Students must submit all required application documents to our office by March 31st, 2021.
