Korean Program Holds 4th Annual Speech Contest

Eleven Korean 102 students participated in the contest, and Haewon Cho, Director of the Korean Language Program at the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations in University of Pennsylvania, and Yookyung Lee, instructor of Korean Program at the Department of World Languages in Boise State University evaluated contestants and chose the three winners and one honorable mention. For this annual event, the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Seattle sponsors award certificates and generous prizes for the winners and all the participants. The first place winner received the Award of the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle from Won-jik Kwon.
