Professor Nere Lete together with Larraitz Ariznabarreta (University of Nevada, Reno) recently co-edited and published the book “Memory and Emotion: (Basque) Women’s Stories. Constructing Meaning from Memory.” The volume compiles a selection of essays from the Department of World Languages First International Cultural Conference organized at Boise State University by Ariznabarreta and Lete in Spring 2018.

The book, published by the Center for Basque Studies Press, University of Nevada, Reno, presents essays about women whose stories have been silenced or disregarded: diasporic and exiled women, activists, militant scholars, avant-garde writers and pioneers of women’s rights.
