[이유경, Yookyung Lee, Adjunct Instructor of Korean, yookyunglee@boisestate.edu]: 안녕하세요! Hello, I am Yookyung Lee and I am teaching Korean language and Korean culture at Boise State University. In the state of Idaho, only Boise State University has been offering Korean language courses and Korean Studies courses. Here in Boise State University, students can learn Elementary Korean 101 and 102, and Korean Studies courses such as Korean Culture and Civilization, Korean Pop Culture in Society, and Korea Today. All the Korean language students join in Korean-English language exchange program and make friends with Korean exchange students to practice and improve their Korean and can compete their Korean language skills at the Korean speech contest every Spring. We also have lots of fun!

Every fall we celebrate Korean Thanksgiving Day, enjoying authentic Korean foods and Korean traditional games. We learn and experience Korean food culture by making real Korean foods. Students can join Korean Club at Boise State and meet many other students and celebrate Korean culture and share their interest. Korean language is really fun to learn and you will experience so many new things and expand your worldview beyond what you expect. This fall semester, Korean Studies program offers Elementary Korean 101 and Intermediate Korean 201. Also, we opened a new course, Korean Culture and Civilization. If you want to know more about Korean Studies program, please contact me: yookyunglee@boisestate.edu. Thank you for watching – 감사합니다!
