CAEP Accreditation
Boise State Earns CAEP Accreditation in Initial and Advanced Programs
In October 2023, the College of Education at Boise State University was granted accreditation through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) at the initial-licensure level and the advanced level until December 2030.
Boise State received their first CAEP accreditation for initial preparation programs as an early adopter for a seven-year term from October 2016 to December 2023. At the time, Boise State was one of the first 17 educator preparations to meet these new standards.

As per Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) guidelines, Boise State Counselor Education distributes an annual report to all stakeholders.
