Boise State University’s College of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for both initial and advanced level programs. Boise State first received CAEP accreditation for initial preparation programs as an early adopter in 2016; at the time, Boise State was one of the first 17 educator preparation programs to meet these new standards. In April 2023, Boise State was reviewed by CAEP and granted accreditation at the initial-licensure level and the advanced level through December 2030.
