2025 – 2026 Academic Year
First-year students and Transfers must complete the intent to enroll in order to receive an assignment on-campus.
Spring 2026
The Spring Housing 2026 Application will open on October 6, 2026 at noon (12 p.m. MDT) for First-year and Sophomore and Above students. Housing for the Spring is assigned on a First Come, First Served basis.
- First-year students must complete the intent to enroll in order to access the application.
* Students must be admitted to Boise State in order to access the Housing Application.Â
Application Process
Once the application is live and you start applying, you’ll be asked to complete the following:
- Electronically sign the academic year license agreement.
- Pay a $75 nonrefundable application fee*.
- Complete the Living Learning Community questions (if you listed an LLC in your community requests).
- Contact the Educational Access Center if you need accommodations.
- Register for renters insurance. You can go through GradGuard, a Boise State University partner if you don’t already have renters insurance.
- Complete a Roommate Profile. Share about your interests, preferences, and lifestyle to set the stage for a supportive and respectful living environment.
- Check your Boise State email frequently for important updates.
*Your application is not complete until you’ve paid the application fee. If you are under 18 at the time of applying for housing, your parent or guardian will need to verify the application and acknowledgment of the license agreement. They’ll get an email with instructions on how to complete this verification.
