Next Application Deadline: Feb. 1
Admission to Boise State Online is offered every seven weeks throughout the fall, spring and summer semesters. While the current application deadline has passed, you can still apply for an upcoming session.
The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Professional Studies features seven-week courses and six start dates a year. All application materials must be received by the deadline to be considered for the program. You must apply separately for admission to Boise State University.

Community College Partnerships
Boise State’s applied science and interdisciplinary professional studies programs have partnered with community colleges across Idaho to help you transfer up to 80 general and technical education credits.
Technical Credits
Your 12 technical education credits can help you earn your bachelor’s degree. Talk with a student success coach to learn how this degree leverages your hard work.
Credit for Prior Learning
Not all learning happens in the classroom, and we believe your experiences through work, volunteering and life should have the potential to count toward your degree. Create a portfolio that showcases your learning and earn credits to save time and money.

Customize Your Degree
Choose between two options to customize your interdisciplinary professional studies degree:
- Create an individualized degree plan and choose one or more concentrations to match your interests.
- Choose an emphasis area in community and social impact, cyber operations management or design and media management. Emphasis areas are only available for students taking classes 100% online.
Certificates
The interdisciplinary professional studies program offers two certificates to enhance your degree: Applied Emotional Intelligence and Well-being and Design Thinking for Professional Purpose and Personal Fulfillment.
