I’ve requested a new license. What should I expect?
The request process typically takes 1–2 business days. After processing, you will receive an email invitation from OpenAI to join the Boise State ChatGPT Edu workspace. Click the Join Workspace button in the email to log in with your Boise State username and password.
Can I use ChatGPT without an Edu license?
No. Access to ChatGPT at Boise State requires an Edu license.
Can I export my ChatGPT data?
Unfortunately, data exports are not available in ChatGPT Edu.
ChatGPT Edu is designed to meet institutional compliance, security, and data governance requirements, and some capabilities available in other versions of ChatGPT, such as data exports, are not included. We are unable to override this configuration, so we cannot grant exceptions.
Are there alternatives to ChatGPT Edu?
