AU-ABC: What military students need to know

What is AU-ABC?

Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) is a partnership between Boise State University and the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). Through AU-ABC, active duty military members have the opportunity to turn their CCAF associate degree into a bachelor’s degree at Boise State.  AU-ABC offers seven diverse degree pathways to pursue, all 100% online:

To be eligible for Boise State’s AU-ABC program, you must be a currently serving member of the Air Force, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserves or Space Force.

We’re Here to Help Cover the Cost

Completing your college education doesn’t have to be expensive. As a military member, AU-ABC can help you earn your bachelor’s degree at an affordable cost.

Federal Tuition Assistance (TA) awards $250 per credit for eligible active duty, Guard, and Reserve military members. Additionally, Boise State’s TA Promise program can provide extra funding to current AU-ABC students who are already using Federal Tuition Assistance. Boise State waives all program application fees for military members.

Missing Prerequisites? Don’t Sweat It!

Still need to complete general education requirements for the CCAF? Consider Boise State’s General Education Mobile (GEM) Program. Through GEM, you can earn 15 credits towards your CCAF associate degree or Boise State degree, helping you get one step closer to earning your bachelor’s degree. GEM offers courses in both 7-week and 15-week formats, giving you flexibility with your schedule.
