The online BBA in Management, Entrepreneurship Emphasis is designed for students who want to launch their own businesses.

This an online degree completion program designed for working adults with some prior college experience. Incoming students should have a general understanding of basic business functions and want to enhance their careers.

Program coursework infuses relevant business instruction with innovation and experiential learning. Through this program, graduates will develop the knowledge base, analytic abilities, and interpersonal skills needed to become an effective ethical business leader.

All students admitted to the program must meet the following by the application deadline:

• Have an earned associate degree or approximately 60 transferable credits from an accredited institution
• A 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher in previous college courses

The online BBA in Management, Entrepreneurship Emphasis is a degree completion program. If you are not planning to transfer credits to earn your bachelor’s degree, the pre-BBA pathway from Boise State Online can help you get started.

The selection committee looks at your previous college courses as well as what strengths and skills you will bring to the program. The committee will want to learn more about your previous college work if you’ve taken business classes, and/or what professional experience you’ve had so far in your career.

BBA in Management, Entrepreneurship Emphasis Degree Requirements

The online BBA in Management, Entrepreneurship Emphasis is offered online only with no in-person courses or requirements. Classes run for seven weeks and you can complete the degree at a full-time or part-time pace — whichever works with your schedule.

The online BBA in Management, Entrepreneurship Emphasis is a 120 credit program that includes the following:

• University Foundations Courses – 37 credits. Must include ECON 201 Principles of Macroeconomics (FS). These foundation courses may be met through transfer coursework or will be incorporated into your degree plan. If you are not planning to transfer credits, the pre-BBA pathway from Boise State Online can help you get started.
• Required Courses – 25 credits
• Entrepreneurship Emphasis Courses – 12 credits
• Electives – 46 credits

Costs and Scholarships

Your total costs at Boise State will vary depending on your previous credits. The following table is an example of the total program cost for a student completing the 37 credits required to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, Entrepreneurship Emphasis.

*The per-credit fees listed are for the 2024-25 academic year. Future academic year per-credit fees may vary slightly and are finalized each May.

**Costs for room, board and transportation are used to calculate financial aid and are included to disclose the full cost of attendance. These costs are not required for students pursuing a fully online degree.
