Lorece currently serves as a Training Director in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity. In this role, she manages the assessment, development and design of headquarters and field training programs. She brings more than 18 years of experience in instructional design, policy development, process enhancement and workforce analysis, including prior service as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Lorece joined HUD after serving as a Senior Human Capital Analyst at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In that post, she developed and delivered performance management training for more than 600 employees in the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Prior to this position, Lorece served as a Supervisory Administrative Officer for the USDA Rural Development Virginia State Office. In this capacity, she developed new hire and new manager training programs in addition to managing budget, contracting, human resources and strategic planning functions for state and field operations.
