More

Fall 2020 Policies

Guest Policy

Due to current circumstances, no guest passes will be issued during the fall semester. We look forward to welcoming guests to our in-person offerings in the spring 2021 semester if the global health climate allows it.

Emergency Cancellation Policy

If the Osher Institute must cancel an offering, members will be notified by email no later than 90 minutes before class time. Please note: If Boise State University closes, the Osher Institute will also close.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

To cancel your enrollment in an offering, please call Customer Services at
(208) 426-1709. Refunds for fee-based offerings, less a $10 administrative fee per offering, are available until fourteen (14) days prior to the offering’s start date. Refunds are not available after that deadline. See offering descriptions for special cancellation policies. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Fall 2020 Registration

Register Online in 6 Easy Steps

Online registration opens the morning of August 4. This is the preferred method of registration. To register, visit the Osher Registration Website.

Step 1: Create an Account

If you are brand new to the Osher Institute, you will need to create an account before purchasing a membership and registering for offerings. Visit the Osher Registration Website and click on “Create Account.” Follow the instructions on that page to establish your account.

Step 2: Become a Member

After you create your account, you will be directed back to the Osher Registration Website. Now that you are logged in to your account, you can purchase a membership.

Step 3: Select Offerings

All lectures and courses that have yet to begin are located underneath the membership selection. Check the boxes of the offerings you are interested in registering for.

Step 4: Sign Consent Form

You must sign the waiver of liability and photo release before you are able to proceed to the checkout. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Osher office at (208) 426-6554.

Step 5: Proceed to Checkout

Click “Proceed to Checkout” to review your order and access the payment portal. DO NOT click “Cancel and Log Off.” All of your selections will be erased if you do so.

Step 6: Review Order & Checkout

On this page, you can review which offerings you have been waitlisted for and enrolled in. Continue to the bottom of the page to enter your personal information, and then click on “Submit Order.” You will be directed to the payment portal where you can enter your credit card information. Click “Continue” at the bottom of the page for your payment information to be submitted.

Paper Registration

Paper registration forms must be mailed to the Osher Institute at 220 E. Parkcenter Blvd., Boise, ID 83706. Envelopes containing paper registration forms will remain sealed and securely stored until registration opens on Tuesday, August 4. Since the Yanke building will be closed to the public until further notice, members may only submit paper forms by mail.

Phone Registration

Phone registration will open Wednesday, August 5 (this is one day earlier than previous registration cycles). To phone in your registration, please call Customer Services at (208) 426-1709.

Registration Receipts

After you register, you will an email receipt listing the offerings you have been successfully enrolled in. Please keep this email! If you would like a new copy of your registration confirmation, please contact Customer Services at (208) 426-1709.
