Registration Information

Membership is a prerequisite to participate in Osher Institute activities. All Institute offerings are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and some fill quickly on registration day.

While early registration is strongly encouraged, you can become a member and register throughout the semester. Fall semester registration opens in early August and spring semester registration opens in early December.

How to Register for Osher Institute Offerings



Get on the waitlist! If an offering is full, we encourage you to add yourself to the waitlist as our waitlists see significant movement throughout the semester. Waitlists also inform our decision to add repeats of popular offerings. You will not be charged for waitlisted offerings until you have been successfully enrolled.

If a member has dropped out of an offering and you are next on the waitlist, Customer Services will contact you.

Registration Receipts

After you register, you will receive separate email receipts listing the offerings you have been successfully enrolled in and the offerings for which you are waitlisted. Please keep these emails!

My History

A great way to keep track of which offerings you are enrolled in is to use the “My History” feature on your Osher account.

Simply log in to your account, click “My Account” at the top of the page, and then click “My History.”
