Dr. Jen Forbey, Professor of Biological Sciences at Boise State University, and postdoc Peter Olsoy are studying the “salad bar” options of Idaho’s sagebrush steppe. By learning where and what sage-grouse and other herbivores eat, scientists can initiate measures to protect and restore food sources.
