Osher Institute Hike: Polecat Gulch

Hike at Polecat Gulch: Collister Trailhead

Directions to the Trailhead:

From the intersection of Collister Drive and Hill Road, drive north up Collister towards the foothills for about 1.0 mile to the trailhead at the very end of Collister Drive. Polecat Gulch has 2 trailheads; start from the Collister Trailhead.

Trails:

Hike a loop starting up the Polecat Gulch Loop, Trail #81, for about 1/4 mile.  Go left up Polecat Gulch to Doe Ridge, #82, to Quick Draw, #83, back to Polecat Gulch Loop, #81. This hike is about 3.5 miles and should take about 1.75 hours.

Bathroom:

A newer, clean outhouse is at the trailhead!

Dogs:

All trails in Polecat Gulch are “dogs on leash.”
