Humanities and Social Sciences Initiatives Lecture: Dr. Trinidad Gonzales

The Humanities and Social Sciences Initiatives at Boise State present “Public History as Critical Civic Engagement During the Era of Divisive Concepts” on November 3 at 6:00 p.m. at the Boise State Micron Business and Economics Building, Room 1301 (Skaggs Hall of Learning). This event is free, and no registration is required.

Dr. Gonzales received the John Lewis Award for History and Social Justice and is co-founder of the Refusing to Forget public history project, which has been awarded the Western Historical Association’s Autry Public History prize, American Historical Association’s Herbert Feis Award and the Organization of American History’s Friend of History Award.
