Collaborations

The Research Administration Systems and Analytics Office collaborates with multiple offices and departments across the university, in an effort to support the University’s strategy  of promoting innovation and advancing research and creative activity by serving faculty, staff, and students in their system and analytics-related needs.

Overall, these departments work collaboratively with RASA and the research department to provide essential support services, infrastructure, and expertise to facilitate research activities, ensure compliance, and promote operational excellence. Their collective efforts contribute to the success and advancement of research endeavors at Boise State University.

Research and Economic Development

The Division of Research and Economic Development (DRED) provides support to faculty and students during all phases of research. We manage the university’s intellectual property portfolio, facilitate relationships with industry for research and commercialization collaboration, and lead outreach to foster economic development in Boise and the region. We do all of this through several core research units.

Office of Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) provides specialized support and full guidance in securing external funding, crafting proposals, budgeting, compliance, and managing contracts.

Office of Research Compliance
