RASA services include data management, systems development, analytics and reporting, and process improvement. We have several key initiatives and work with collaborators across campus to improve research systems across campus.

Step 1: Generate Idea

Step 1: Generate Idea
What would you like to research or create? In step one, learn to look at your ideas carefully and discover what to do with them; after all, some of you have done this before but need assistance, and so many others have great ideas but are new to this and don’t know where to begin.
CRCA Research Development can work with you to brainstorm, network with peers, develop a team and explore ideas. We can provide consultation on generating ideas, build an affinity group around your ideas, provide guided brainstorm facilitation for groups, and be a partner in developing collaborations. If you have compliance questions, connect with the Office of Research Compliance.

RASA interacts with researchers in the Research and Creative Activity (RCA) Ecosystem during each stage of the ecosystem
- Data Management:Â Develops and maintains databases and information systems for research administration, tracking proposals, awards, compliance data, and metrics.
- Systems Development:Â Designs, implements, and updates software systems to streamline research administration processes and enhance user experience.
- Analytics and Reporting:Â Analyzes research data to provide insights and support decision-making, generating reports on proposal activity, funding trends, and compliance metrics.
- Process Improvement:Â Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and address bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and optimize resource allocation in research administration.
Boise State has honed the RCA Ecosystem process into seven steps. Do you need full support along the way? We built a path that takes you from start to finish. But for those who need support in one, two, or a few of these steps, you’re not alone. We’ve built a system that allows you to choose your own adventure and jump into any of these steps as you need them.
