Step 5: Register for Orientation (First Year Students)

Throw on your Blue & Orange and start your life as a Boise State Bronco!

• WHY: During orientation, you will be able to register for classes, connect with academic advisors, meet new students, explore key campus resources and more! Please note, you cannot register for classes prior to orientation.
• WHEN: For students starting in the fall semester, orientation registration opens in March. Orientation will take place over the summer, prior to classes starting in late August. For students starting in the spring semester, orientation registration opens in October. Orientation will take place in December prior to classes starting in January.
• HOW: Students who have completed their intent to enroll confirmation are able to register for orientation as soon as it becomes available. Make sure to check out Step 6: Send your Final Transcripts prior to Orientation.
