STEP 4: APPLY FOR ON-CAMPUS HOUSING
Are you interested in living on campus? We’d love to be your Ida-HOME!
- WHY: Living on campus is one of the best ways to get the most out of your Boise State experience. Studies show that students who choose to live on campus are more likely to graduate on time and feel more connected to their community. Students are highly encouraged to live on campus but it is not required. Housing assignments are based on a first come, first served basis and reviewed upon your housing application date/time stamp.
- WHEN: For first year students starting in the Fall Semester, the housing application opens in early March. For students starting in the Spring Semester, the housing application opens in early October. On-campus housing is limited so it is important to apply early! If you are still waiting for the housing application to open, you can check out all the different housing options available to you on campus at Boise State! If you’re interested in intentional living communities, be sure to check out the Living Learning Program (LLP) as an additional housing option.
Interested in off-campus housing? To view housing options close to campus, check out the Boise State Off-Campus Marketplace. - HOW: Students who have completed their intent to enroll confirmation are able to pre-apply for on-campus housing after their designated times.
- Questions? Contact your Admissions Counselor! You can also reach out to the Housing & Residence Life Office at (208) 447-1001 or housing@boisestate.edu.
