General Use

How do I access Qualtrics XM?

First, visit the Qualtrics login screen. For first-time faculty, staff, or student users, it will create a new Qualtrics account that is tied to your Boise State username.

Are there any restrictions that I should be aware of?

How can I make sure my survey is accessible?

It is important to create surveys that are accessible for all. You can check your survey to ensure accessibility by using the “Check Survey Accessibility” feature in the “Tools” menu. For more information about Qualtrics accessibility, consult the Check Survey Accessibility page on the Qualtrics XM website.

Where can I find higher-level Qualtrics XM training and resources?

Qualtrics University features online training programs, video tutorials, research articles, and an extensive library of surveys by topic area, questions and graphics.

How can I recruit the most appropriate respondents for my survey?

Consider using panels. A Qualtrics panel is a list used to distribute your survey to potential respondents and for analyzing data. You can create your own panels or purchase them from Qualtrics XM.

How do I request an upgraded account?

Upgraded accounts are available for faculty, staff, and student employees. Normal Qualtrics XM accounts are limited to 500 survey responses, three active surveys, and ten total surveys (active and inactive).
