Biography

Lori Hausegger is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Canadian Studies Program at Boise State University. She has a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary and a Ph.D. in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Her research interests include comparative courts, judicial selection, judicial decision-making and court-Congress relations.

Books

The first textbook in the Canadian context to specifically address the relationship between the law and politics in a very broad sense, that is, by not just focusing on one institution, such as the Supreme Court, or one relationship, such as that between judges, politicians, and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
