The business administration major provides a broad curriculum designed for students who wish to obtain a degree that gives them experience across several functional areas to help them develop the competencies and skills necessary to become effective managers. Students take courses in the fundamental disciplines of business: accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, information technology, and supply chain management. The major emphasizes the development of logical thinking and the use of technical tools directed at recognizing and solving problems that occur in the business community.

This major is appropriate for those students who wish to enter management-training programs offered by business corporations.

The Business Administration BBA program qualifies for Idaho LAUNCH. Idaho LAUNCH by Next Steps Idaho, is an education and training grant program that provides Idaho students a one-time scholarship for 80% of the tuition and fees for select in-demand career programs – up to a maximum amount of $8,000.
