Human Resource Management


The major provides a solid foundation for those interested in the human resource management function of a business related to strategic management, workforce planning, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, and risk management. The major aligns with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates, which sets minimum standards for a degree in human resources.


The minor includes 18 credits of upper division Human Resource, Management, and other COBE upper division courses.
