Say hello to the Cover block, a new feature in our Boise State WordPress theme that empowers content creators to craft visually engaging headers and banners by overlaying standard HTML text atop full-width images or solid backgrounds.
The Cover block
Key features include:
- Parallax scrolling: Activate a dynamic scolling effect where the background image moves at a different speed than the foreground content, adding depth to the page.
- Text overlay: Allows for the placement of standard HTML text over and image or solid background, enhancing accessibility and allowing search engines to index the text content.
- Customizations: Adjust the image width, apply color overlays and duotone filters, and lighten or darken text to ensure readability for all visitors.
