The Idaho Digital Accessibility Consortium is presenting a free WebAIM Virtual Training workshop opportunity for State of Idaho employees (including Boise State staff and faculty) October 6 and 7.
WebAIM (Web Accessibility In Mind) has provided comprehensive accessibility services since 1999 and is internationally recognized as a leader in providing web accessibility expertise, leadership, and advocacy.
About the training
Join us to celebrate Disability Awareness Month in October and gain a better understanding of how web accessibility provides greater access to services and support for your audience.
This two-day interactive Zoom training will introduce participants to web accessibility principles and strategies for how to champion accessibility within an organization. Participants who wish to take a deeper dive into making documents or websites accessible can choose to attend advanced breakout sessions at the end of day two.
While this training is tailored toward non-profit organizations and their partners, Boise State faculty and staff can apply foundational concepts to their roles at the university. To find more resources on web accessibility, visit the Boise State Webguide.
