DubBot Dashboard

Overview

There are five main panels on the dashboard: site overview, major issue categories, quick wins, reports, and recent site activity.

1. Site overview panel

The Site Overview panel highlights key metrics for your site at a glance. This panel includes:

Site Overview panel showing overall site score, links to pages, images, and PDFs, source URL, crawl status, and latest crawl date.
  • Overall Site Score: Displays a percentage score with a chart icon that links to site trends over time. The score reflects results across all categories except Best Practices. PDFs are not included.
  • Pages, Images, and PDFs: Shows the total number of pages, images, and PDFs identified in the scan. Each item links to a detailed list.
  • Source: Indicates the website that is being scanned.
  • Crawl Status: Shows the current status of the scan (Crawling, Not Crawling, Processing, Queued, or Done). Crawls take place an average of every seven days.
  • Latest Crawl: Displays the most recent scan date and links to the crawl log.

2. Major issue categories

Next to the Site Overview panel, there are six major issue categories—Accessibility, Broken Links, Web Governance, Best Practices, Spell Check, and SEO—along with a breakdown of the scores that contribute to the Overall Site Score.

Major issue categories displayed on site or page set dashboard.

Each issue category includes links to help you review and address issues:

  • “X pages”: For most users. “X pages” opens a list of pages for that issue. Select a page URL to open the Detail Page, review the issue, fix it, and move on. This is the fastest and most direct workflow for most users.
  • “X issues found”: For advanced users. “X issues found” opens a view that groups issues by type (such as a specific broken link or repeated error). Use this to identify patterns across multiple pages, prioritize high-impact issues, and determine whether a fix can be made once or needs to be addressed across several pages. Next, select the pages link to view affected pages, then click on a page URL to open the corresponding Detail Page. You can also download a CSV file from this page and export it to a spreadsheet to track and assign the fixes to a team of people.
  • Tip: Focus on the Accessibility, Broken Links, and Spell Check issues first. The WordPress team will provide guidance for the Web Governance, Best Practices, and SEO issue categories at a later date.

3. Quick Wins panel

Quick Wins panel displaying URLs for pages with issues.
  • The Quick Wins panel defaults to the filter, “Pages with Issues”, and includes a page URL with an issue count of how many total issues are on that page.
  • Use the Quick Wins panel when you want to work by priority. Pages listed here may have multiple issues and correcting all the issues on a page will have the biggest impact.
  • You can also filter Quick Wins by major issue category to view a prioritized list of pages that DubBot recommends fixing first for the greatest impact:

4. Reports panel

The Reports panel provides a list of standard downloadable CSV reports and custom reports.

List of downloadable reports including custom reports and standard CSV reports.

There are currently two custom reports available for download:

  • Google Drive Link Issues Report
A summary of all locations on your site where Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, or Slides links appear. Use this report to review the accessibility of your Google files and ensure they meet accessibility compliance standards.
  • Dashboard Summary Report
A report that provides a more detailed snapshot of your site, including top accessibility issues, pages with the most issues, broken links, and more. You can also share this report with users who do not have DubBot access.

The WordPress Support Team is developing a form to request custom reports. In the meantime, submit requests through the OIT Help Desk at (208) 426-4357, helpdesk@boisestate.edu, or ServiceNow.

5. Recent Activity panel

A list of recent activity on your site or page set property with a link to view more.
  • The Recent Activity panel provides a brief summary of recent activity on your site or page set.
  • Select View All at the bottom of the panel to view more detailed information or download the information to a CSV file.
