Getting started with DubBot

1. Access DubBot

To access DubBot, log in to myBoiseState. At the top of the left sidebar, type “DubBot” into the search field. If you have an account, you’ll be logged into the application as a Viewer.

You have the option to customize your “My Resources” menu in myBoiseState to include DubBot among the tools you use most often.

To request a DubBot account or to be added to a new website or group, please submit an account request form.

2. Find your dashboard

When you login to DubBot, you’ll land on a page displaying a list of all available Boise State dashboards. Click on the link for “All www.boisestate.edu.sites (Page Set)” and the page set dashboard for all Boise State websites will display.

In the top left corner of the dashboard, click on the “All www.boisestate.edu…” dropdown menu to search for your website. Then click on the result to open the dashboard for your website.

3. Understand your dashboard

The DubBot Dashboard provides an overview of the issues identified during a scan of your site(s). Learn what information is available, how to find issues by major category, and how to navigate to the Detail Page to review and remediate those issues.

4. View issues on your webpage

When you’re ready to begin addressing flagged issues on your site, learn how to read a Detail Page to fix issues such as accessibility, broken links, or misspellings.

5. Managing tasks

The Web Strategy Team is consistently reviewing issues that are flagged in DubBot. You may receive an email alert that you have a new task to complete. This is the start of a new collaboration process using DubBot. If you have a question, you’ll enter the question into the task’s comments field. The reply to your question will also be entered in the comments field. Each comment will generate a notification email to facilitate the collaboration.
