COBE Student Resources

Academic Requirements and Information:

  • Academic Advisement Report (AAR) – This feature can be used to track your degree progress and help select your classes for next semester. Check out this portion of the Boise State Registrar Website for more information.
  • Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Scores – For high school students completing AP classes check out which test scores will allow you to earn college credit at Boise State.
  • CLEP Testing – Do you feel like to already know the material for ACCT 205, ACCT 206, MKTG 301, etc? Check out which CLEP tests apply to you and the required scores needed to earn credit for these classes.
  • Independent Study in Idaho (ISI) – Independent Study in Idaho courses are designed for students who work well independently with limited interaction with instructors. You can enroll anytime and work from anywhere. You can work at your own pace within the limits set by the course instructor on the number of assignments that can be submitted per week. You have up to one calendar year from the registration date to complete ISI courses.
  • COBE Computer Placement Exams – The COBE placement tests for ITM 104, 105, and 106 can be taken to override prerequisites and program admission requirements. The test is designed to test students’ knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • ACCUPLACER Test Information  â€“ Do you need placement test scores for Math courses? Could you improve on your ACT or SAT scores from high school? Check out the Proctoring and Certification Services center for more information on the university-accepted ACCUPLACER exam.
  • Transfer Equivalency Guide – Transferring to Boise State? Check out the transfer equivalency guide for several schools around the United States.
  • The Write Class– English Placement
  • Advising and Academic Support Center (AASC) – Need more information on UF 100, study skills, or university testing? AASC can help provide the information you need. Additional resources include:

  • Health Services â€“ Explore all the services offered by our on-campus Health Services – medical, wellness and counseling.
